A yacht advisor is your partner for everything around your yacht: Captiva Yachting Advisory supports you from the first idea through selection, purchase and construction to final delivery and beyond. The advisory follows the entire lifecycle of a yacht and is organised in four phases, right through to the resale.
What are the phases of Captiva's yacht advisory?
Captiva Yachting Advisory organises its support in four phases: Realisation, Execution, Operation and Let Go. Realisation covers, for example, international yacht search and purchase contract negotiation support, while Execution includes construction supervision, registration, insurance and captain and crew recruitment. Operation covers handover, delivery to the home port and after-sales support, and Let Go covers yacht valuation, resale brokerage and decommissioning.
Does Captiva help with yacht financing, insurance and registration?
Yes, in the Execution phase Captiva Yachting Advisory advises on budgeting, financing and cost planning, registration and flagging, yacht coding and insurance, among other things. Legal and tax structuring advisory is part of the Realisation phase.
Does the support end once the yacht has been handed over?
No, the support continues beyond delivery: in the Operation phase Captiva takes care of handover and commissioning, delivery to the home port, route planning, operational management, after-sales support as well as refitting and upgrades. Crew training coordination is also part of it.
Can Captiva help me sell my yacht?
Yes, that is what the Let Go phase is for: Captiva Yachting Advisory supports you with yacht valuation, surveyor advisory, resale brokerage and decommissioning. You can send a sale enquiry directly via the contact form.

Yes, Captiva Yachting Advisory works with new and pre-owned yachts of all types, sizes and brands. When you send an enquiry via the contact form, simply state whether you are interested in a new or a pre-owned yacht.
Is Captiva Yachting Advisory tied to a particular yacht brand?
No, Captiva Yachting Advisory supports you with yachts of every brand and works independently, discreetly and personally. Its advisory is built on trust, integrity, professionalism, expertise and confidentiality. In addition, Captiva is an official dealer for catamarans from the French shipyard Fountaine Pajot, which has its own partner area on the website.

From Vienna, the advisory serves clients around the world, backed by an international network covering all aspects of the yachting world.
Who is behind Captiva Yachting Advisory?
Captiva Yachting Advisory was founded in Vienna in 2017 by its CEO, Mag. Bernd Fessler, after more than 20 years in international banking. Since then, the company has delivered more than 50 yachts. The team also includes Jörg Fessler, CMO & Consultant, who has more than 34 years of experience in marketing and communications consulting.
